Watch out for these three major red flags:

1. You get hired immediately without a proper interview.
2. They ask you to pay a fee or buy equipment first.
3. They ask you to complete a full project but haven't sent any upfront payment or signed a contract.
Set your absolute minimum at $5/hour. Do not accept jobs that pay less than this. Accept the $5/hour jobs to build your experience, and as you get better, you will move up the ladder and increase your rates.
Wise is simply the best option. It offers the best exchange rates to PHP and has the most reasonable fees compared to other platforms.
My practical advice is to wait until you are consistently earning more than ₱100,000 a month before worrying about this step. Focus on building your income and skills first.
It is entirely up to you whether you want to continue paying these as voluntary contributions. Foreign clients do not have to cover these benefits, and it is not required for them to do so.
Be prepared: most jobs will require you to work the graveyard shift to align with US business hours. However, there are some clients who offer flexible hours or operate in different time zones where this isn't necessary.
You need four basic things: a good working laptop or computer, a stable Wi-Fi connection, reliable electricity, and a serious time commitment to learn and apply what we teach you.
